We have been invited to involve our beach cam in the www.surf.co.nz website.
This is New Zealands leading online Surf Resource.

A viewer saw this picture on our website beach cam and thought it was of interest. He headed it up UFO? Perhaps its the UFO that was recently spotted soaring above the Shannon township or more likely a remote control helicopter? Any ideas?

Did you know that the sea isn't taking back the beach...
at least not at Waitarere Beach!

In fact the beach is growing 1-1.5 mtrs a year!!

The Hydrabad used to be out to sea...
now its way up in the sand dunes just about buried!
